2015年4月30日雅思A 类大作文解析及原创范文-抽象类

2015年4月30 日雅思A类大作文题目和2012年4月21日雅思大作文基本是一样的题目。只是2015年4月30日这次大作文前面加了一些噱头:比如An American writer say that Tomorrow is more important

Some people prefer planning the future while others argue that we should focus on the present. Do you agree or disagree.

Great minds throughout history have been reflecting on how to live a perfect life. In the  pursuit of one’s consummate life, some hold that we should focus on the present whereas others prefer to plan the future. Personally, I think present is more important than unpredictable and volatile tomorrow.

Those who favor planning the future may be justified by the fact that if one lose sight of the future and concentrate merely on the ephemeral  ‘now’, they will, more often than not, end up in permanent misery. For a certain period of time, money, resources as well as our youth are too limited for us to squander. Once we deplete our limited money, by no means can we savor the present. On the contrary, looking around, we may find countless people have succeeded as a result of careful planning the future rather than just indulging in the present.

However, people arguing that we should focus on the present are equally justifiable to some degrees. As the saying goes, “Yesterday is a history; tomorrow is a mystery; today is a gift, that is why it is called present.” Our life is composed of nothing but numerous present. Provided that we don’t focus on the present, by and large, nor can we enjoy the future. Those who believe in planning the future may argue that as long as we plan carefully and put what they have planned into practice, we will enjoy the fruit of the future. But men’s desire is insatiable. After careful planning and painful persisting, one may be rewarded with success. But how can we guarantee that they will stop pursuing success and enjoy what they deserve?

Overall, I tend to believe that we should focus on the present for two simple reasons. Firstly, it is the countless present, instead of the future, which constitutes our life. Secondly, one’s insatiable desire for better life in future may prevent people from savoring and appreciating what they possess in their hands at present.
