大家都知道我们雅思考试中S1和S3一般都是以dialogue的形式出现，两人或者多人的对话。就像我们平时交流一样，对话中必然会带有人与人之间的语气变化，因此我们的 ‘3C’原则也应运而生。
‘3C’指的是 ‘ check, confirm和change’ （核对，确认，改变）这三个词。以C7T4S3的23-26题为例，题目如下，

这道matching题刚好是考语气两人对话的，并且也是语气题，check就是一方提出关键词或者是通过疑问句来询问对方的消息，如这里的批注1/3/6/8/10，然后就是等待对方的confirm或者change，如果对方直接confirm，一般都是表示肯定的词，那答案就是上文check的内容；如果对方change，一般会以否定词开始，然后表示自己的意见，那就要等待后面对方最后的意见出炉，当然这个时候答案到底是A说的还是B后来提到的，还要看双方或者多方的拉锯战，以最后胜利者定答案。如这里的第26题，来回两个拉锯，最后反方还是以失败告终，因此答案是C。
