A: Hello. My name is Ben. Please sit down. How can I help you?
B： 您好，我现在65岁。我听朋友说我可以申请养老金，我8月就要满66岁了。
A: To apply for pension, there are some requirements that you need to meet. Could I ask whether you are an Australian citizen or a permanent resident?
B： 我是澳大利亚公民。我20年前来到澳洲，但是我是持配偶签证。
A: So you meet the requirement of 10 years residence in Australia. You also have to pass the income and assets test.
B： 我退休后就没有收入了，我太太10年都没有工作了。

A: Your income includes international income. What about your assets?

A: One of the benefits you can enjoy is Medicare and it is like health insurance. Another benefit is from local council.
