PTE Re-tell Lecture

Ok, when do I start an interest in atoms? As long ago as I can remember. I remember being interested in atoms when I was 5-years’ old. And I remember deciding that I wanted to be a physicist when I was about 10-years’ old, so a long long time ago, but you know what? All kids are curious about everything, so I was not just atoms that I was curious about. I was curious about bugs, I was curious about the rhubarb that grown in our backyard and tasted so wonderfully sour when we would pick it and chew on it. And I was interested in, you know, how the birds could fly. I was interested in the history of the world. Kids are curious about everything and you know why I like talking with you kids so much? Because you are the people who are most like scientists. Because scientists are just kids who never lost their curiosity.
