What is your view on the idea that it takes failure to achieve success?

Everyone in the world wants to be successful in the things that they do to a certain extent whether it means becoming well-known for something or simply being appreciated by those around you. In my view true success cannot be achieved without some failure along the way.

There are many examples in history of people who had large failures at something, later going on to become successful because of what they learned through the process of failing. In business, Richard Branson, the founder of the international company Virgin, filed for bankruptcy three times before he made his first million pounds. He attributes his success to the mistakes and failures he made at a young age which allowed him to learn valuable lessons about managing money which he could not have done otherwise.

Furthermore, there are examples of successful people who had many hundreds of small failures before they finally became masters of their field. One such example is the inventor Thomas Edison who claimed to have tried more than 1000 times to invent the lightbulb before finally creating one that worked. Edison said that he did not fail 1000 times but in fact he found 100 ways which didn’t work and could not have finally produced a working light bulb with the lesson learned through the process of trial and error.

In conclusion, I believe that without experiencing a certain kind of failure whether it be large or small, no real success or progress can be made.
