在去年雅思大作文题库中，有一个类型的题目是关于人们制造的过量的噪音，手机使用，吸烟等对于公共区域的危害，使得这些活动需要被限制。其中以2015.2.14的大作文题目为典型，题目原型如下：
The use of mobile phone is as antisocial as smoking. Smoking is banned in certain places, so mobile should be banned like smoking. To what extend do you agree or disagree?
除此以外，还有许多类似的有危险性的活动不被支持的题目。典型的例子包括，
政府类题目中的 : The amount of noise people make should be controlled strictly by the government?
社会型题目中的：Smoking should be banned in public places.to what extent do you agree or disagree?
竞技特长中的：Banning dangerous sports? People have the right to do whatever sports they like? Discuss.
这类话题并不复杂，实际上只要能找到两三个具有说服力的理由就回答一大半题目了，然而在写作过程当中要注意段落结构，不仅要给出禁止的理由，还要用一个段落来说明过分遏制带来的负面效果。才能做到完全扣题和回答问题。
以2.14这个典型题目为例，注意题目的特色是有两个关键词，分别是手机和吸烟。具体剖析一下文章里不可不提的几点。
首段，使用电话会给人们和其生活带来长期的消极影响，和吸烟一样是反社会的活动，因此关于使用手机是否应该像吸烟一样在某些固定场所例如，餐厅，图书馆，博物馆，酒吧，俱乐部等被禁止在社会里引起了激烈的争论。然后给出自己的观点即可。
在写主体段之前，我们必须要先了解吸烟对烟民（smokers）和其周围的人群（passive smokers）环境带来的危害，最主要的是：
Carcinogenic chemicals (nicotine addiction), long-term health problem, bad smell, odours, spark a fire.
手机使用同样会对人们的健康带来影响，
Accumulated Radiation, noise pollution,
主体段，topic sentence要明确，最好给出为什么手机在某些公共场合（enclosed public spaces）要被禁止的理由。分论点中就可以详细讨论手机带来的危害，可以举例说明，（For example, if mobile was not banned during the flight, the airplane navigation could be seriously affected by the strong radiation produced by the large volume of phone calls and signal reception, and this is very dangerous and could lead to a terrible accident of a flight. 在此，一定注意不要遗漏了吸烟的坏处，也就是要和吸烟对人类的危害进行类比。否则就没有完全回答问题。
主体段二，根据首段的个人观点来写，如果认为不应该过分限制或全面禁止，应该给出转折意见（eg, although most people agree with the ban, there have been some unexpected downside to the bans.）然后在下文中需要说明在某些场所禁止手机的使用会导致哪些问题，带来了什么障碍。
具体的理由需就个人的意见来补充和发挥了。
段尾，一定用一句简洁的话总结，导致手机和吸烟一样被禁止的几个因素，除了一些限制所带来的minor side effects，对于公众健康和安静的环境的提高是非常显著的，这个禁止政策是值得的（eg, the improvement in health and reduced amount of noise in quiet public areas make this restriction of mobile use more than worthwhile, therefore I agree that cell phone should be banned the same with cigarettes. ）
