Well, as people began to experiment with particles, like electron, photons in the early part of 20th century, they simply find that the older Newtonian Paradigm which had been so fantastically successful in describing big things, the motions of the planets and moon, the motion of the rock you might throw through from here to there, they find that the Newtonian Paradigm was flat-out wrong, it was not relevant, wasn’t the right language for describing the physics that would take place. You are not talking about the moon or the earth, but you are talking about electrons or photons. The new paradigm had this fundamental level of probability built into it because of that probabilistic description of how things unfold, a fundamental level of uncertainty was ejected into our understanding of microscope reality.
