My practice develops a strong psychophysical connection for performers, business men and women, lawyers, educators, doctors, air-traffic controllers, and other oral communicators. I research vocal processes, and texts that inspire utterances primarily through the media of theatre, but also in any situation that requires a voice to be heard. Shakespeare wrote that our storytellers in the theatre “ hold a mirror up to nature”. Canadian playwright and performer Daniel Macivor agrees and says of his job, I am a professional human being.
