A: Can I ask what delays your mom’s immigration?
B： 我母亲卖房子的时候出了些问题，现在解决了。房子卖出了以后，就马上开始办理手续了。
A: How long has your mom stayed in Australia? I need to work out which visa subclass she should apply for.
B： 我有五个孩子，我希望我们母亲过来照顾她们。
A: I can understand because I have 4 children and it was my mother-in-law who looked after them. Have you heard of family reunion visa?
B： 我听说父母签证跟以前不一样了。现在是临时居住签证。是这样么？
A: You don’t have to worry about it now because the proposal has not been passed yet. Your mom can stay in Australia but she will not be covered by Medicare and she has to take out a private insurance policy.
B： 也就是说，每个月还要付保险费。每个月2000的开销太大了，我母亲负担不起。
